Make Up Final Exams Summer 2023

For grades 9 -11: if a student misses the final exam, the teacher will give a "Z" for the exam grade. In the event of an Excused Absence, the student can make up the final exams. To determine if you are eligible to make up the final exam, review Policy 8020 – Grading and Reporting.

After confirming your eligibility to make up the final exam, visit SignUpGenius to choose the best time and date. Be sure to arrive at school on time and follow all instructions given by your proctor.

Please note:

• The grading process will take place after the teacher arrives from their summer break (the third week of August). 
• The student will be able to take the final exam no later than 10 days following the start of the next school year.
• If the final exam is not taken by the specified deadline, the temporary "Z" grade will be automatically converted to an "E" grade.
• The revised grade will be visible in the 1st quarter marking period of the upcoming school year, concluding on October 31, 2023.
