Bright Minds Foundation Scholarship for HCC Dual Enrolled Students

The Bright Minds Foundation has released the scholarship application for students who currently qualify to receive Free and Reduced-Price Meals who are taking courses on HCC's campus this Winter and Spring. Students can visit https://brightmindsfoundation.org/jumpstart/ and click on "scholarship application" to complete the application. Please remember, this scholarship covers costs for course fees and textbooks.

Bank of America Internship Opportunity

Bank of America Student Leaders® Student Leaders is an eight‐week summer experience for high school juniors and seniors. The program includes a paid internship with a local nonprofit organization as well as the Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., July 17-24, 2023. The program gives students the opportunity to develop and apply leadership skills through hands‐on community work while discovering their own talents for serving their community and leading others. Students who have submitted nominations will be notified of their application status in April 2023.

Registration for Winter and Spring semester courses on Howard Community College's campus is now open for all students. Remember, all students are eligible to take courses on HCC’s campus with no tuition or consolidated fee costs (textbook and course fee costs still apply).

The Maryland Higher Education Commission is happy to announce that the 2023-2024 Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) is now available! Students can access the MSFAA through their MDCAPS accounts. Initial applicants must create a student login.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences Conferences will be held Monday, November 21, in person and Tuesday, November 22-Wednesday, November 23, virtually. Conference sign up opens at 8am, Monday, November 7, via HCPSS Connect Synergy. Parents/guardians must log in with their own credentials. Please check to be sure you are NOT logged in as your child.
