Current 8-11 grade students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend virtual information sessions on HCPSS career academies on Wednesday, March 2. The evening will include two 20-minute information sessions, beginning at 7 and 7:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how Career and Technical Education (CTE) career academies provide high school students with opportunities to earn college credit, scholarships, and industry certifications, participate in worksite and mentorship experiences, and become creative problem solvers by participating in hands-on project-based learning.
Complete information on all career academies is available online. Students/parents are encouraged to review the academies before registering.
Register online by Monday, Feb. 28. Following registration, students/parents will be emailed a meeting code. All sessions will be conducted via Google Meet using the student’s account login.
Students and parents may attend sessions from up to two academies. Participating academies include:
