Congratulations to the Cross Country Teams! 

This past weekend, the Reservoir Cross Country Team took 52 athletes to Cary, North Carolina. Competing against stiff competition, 18 RHS runners ran personal best times!

Ryleigh Griffin, Carrie Lubis, Carla Wilson, Chris Reckner, Yash Patel, Elliott Pochettino and Nimay Vyas are all first time Cross Country runners and all had amazing races! Quintin Butler, Nitan Singh, Travis Ponton, Noah Kim, Breann Smith, and Annabel Cortez improved their 5k times by more than a minute!

The Boys Team finished 3rd out of 35 teams. Leading the way was William Christian in 8th place. Will ran 16 minutes 29 seconds and now has the third fastest time in Reservoir school history.  Kai Muniz was 16th overall in a time of 16:51 and is now fifth all time at RHS!

The Girls Team finished 11th out of 33 teams.  Annabel Cortez was our top runner in 9th place in a time of 20 minutes and 34 seconds.  Close behind was Heather Ailinger who finished in 19th place overall with a time of 20:54.

The Gators are back in action this Saturday at Stevenson University! Congrats again to all of our runners and our coaches, Mr. Phil Rogers and Dr. Bobby Gessler!

Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Volleyball Teams! 

The Varsity Volleyball team remains undefeated after a three game sweep of Southern High on Tuesday and then another three game swap against Glenelg yesterday!  The team is now 5-0!

Scores of the games against Southern were 26-24, 25-20, 25 – 9.  Leading players were Amaka Chukwujekwu with 13 kills and 5 aces, Enitan Omowela with 3 kills and 3 blocks, Brooke Saunderson with 5 aces, 7 digs and 22 assists, Elizabeth Harvey with 3 aces and 10 digs, Pam Chukwujekwu with 2 blocks, and Sydney Allen with 2 kills and 12 digs.

In the match against Glenelg, the scores were 25-13, 27-25, 25-19.  Leaders for the match were Amaka Chukwujekwu with 12 kills and 8 digs, Sydney Allen with 7 kills and 9 digs, Enitan Omolewa with 6 kills and Brooke Saunderson with 5 aces and 26 assists.

JV Volleyball also won against Southern in three games. Scores were 14-25 25-20 and 15-6.  While the whole team played well, two players to highlight from this match were Morgan Davis with excellent serves and Delara Rajabi who played great defense!
