The start of the 2020-2021 school year is just a few weeks away.  Later today all students will have access to their list of registered courses for this year.  We kindly request that students review the list for accuracy.  Course changes will be made for the following reasons:

1. You do not have 4 classes each semester for a total of 8 courses listed.
2. You passed a class in summer school and need to update your schedule.
3. You need a class to graduate and it is not scheduled.
4. You are requesting work release, JumpStart college release, or non-work-related release.

Counselors are still working very hard to ensure that all students have complete and accurate schedules.  We will not make elective course changes. If you require a schedule change for one of the above reasons, please complete the attached google form.  Requests for schedule changes must be made by Thursday, September 3rd, as they need to be processed before school begins on Tuesday, September 8th.

Students and families can view their progress on completing graduation credits, Maryland High School Assessments, and service-learning requirements by logging into HCPSS Connect and clicking on the "Academic Information" tab on the left. "Graduation Requirements" will show what is required, how many credits have been completed, how many are in progress, and how many are remaining. If you have questions about a student’s progress, please speak with your student’s school counselor.
